Maruichi Kiita with Asagi/Momiji blend.
Description: This hone is primarily Kiita with an Asagi/Momiji blend, which can be seen right through the hone. It also has the appearance of Nashiji. Usually Nashiji makes for a faster cutting speed, however this hone remains both extremely hard and slow cutting. This hone had stamps as can be seen in the picture, but due to a chip in the surface, the hone had to be lapped in order to assess it's ability to hone razors. The hone still retains a a small portion of skin on the left side. There is a small crack on the front side of the hone, and on the surface is 2 black hairline cracks, these are believed to be veins, as they do not effect honing. There are some fine scratches on the surface which are the result of lapping, but in now way effect a razor's edge.
This hone is heavily reduced in price due to the removal of stamps and hairline cracks.
Dimensions: 15x3.5x2CM. (Width measurement is taken from the narrowest point of the hone. It is mostly a 4-4.5cm width)
